how come you have 255 attempts? mine (bold 9000) came with only 10! can you give out the trick?
255 attempts on a bold 9000? how come, please explain!!!
@Pablucho0 No tricks
Rogers Blackberrys come with 255 Attempts.
mepd doesnt do anything in ‘no sim card’ section
@seanomom Type it in uppercase or put a SIM in the phone.
@cellunlocknet – I ended up typing mep2 at the blank screen (after mepd) and it brought me to the enter code section, I entered the code, said ‘code accepted’, but now its not seeing the sim card… – not seeing mine or the one at the stores (trying to go from bell to telus)
@seanomom Did you also enter the MEP4 code?
@cellunlocknet – I just used the upercase MEPD and it brought me to the personalization screen looks like this tho (with sim card in)
sim – disabled
network – disabled
N.suset – diabled
Service provier – Active
corporate – disabled
@cellunlocknet no? what mep4 code?
@seanomom If your phone is from Bell then we emailed you an SP code as well and it needs to be entered by entering MEP (ALT) 4 and you will be prompted for the Service Provider code.
After half a day of going back and forth between AT&T and BlackBerry, I finally gave in and bought the unlock code. It was in my email in under half an hour, and the instructions in the video worked for me exactly; except that my AT&T phone only offers 10 attempts. Still, it worked first time, and after I yelled at AT&T long enough they credited my account enough to cover the cost of the code ;o)
Thank You!
Great video. Thanks for the simple instructions. Done.
After i enter MEPD the network says blocked can someone help
can i use the same mep code you used ?? please help ,,,thanks
@MrLocalman123 No, each phone has a unique MEP code based on the imei.
are you in canada??
@ozzyunoe Canada & USA.
can anybody tell me how you turn the bold 9000 on? which button do you have to press? thanks for your help:)
@chillouut Press the RED (end call) key for a few seconds.
may i use this method to unlock my celphone in dominican republic ?
@TheAntogm Yes you can.
@cellunlocknet thank you so much:)
that code was the wrong one…and i tried it on the exact same phone?….do you have another code?…
@kjuicekerns Each phone has a unique code based on the imei. The one we entered in this phone was specific to the one we unlocked.
