    mepd doesnt do anything in ‘no sim card’ section

  5. cellunlocknet says:

    @seanomom Type it in uppercase or put a SIM in the phone.

  6. seanomom says:

    @cellunlocknet – I ended up typing mep2 at the blank screen (after mepd) and it brought me to the enter code section, I entered the code, said ‘code accepted’, but now its not seeing the sim card… – not seeing mine or the one at the stores (trying to go from bell to telus)

  7. cellunlocknet says:

    @seanomom Did you also enter the MEP4 code?

  8. seanomom says:

    @cellunlocknet – I just used the upercase MEPD and it brought me to the personalization screen looks like this tho (with sim card in)

    sim – disabled
    network – disabled
    N.suset – diabled
    Service provier – Active
    corporate – disabled

  9. seanomom says:

    @cellunlocknet no? what mep4 code?

  10. cellunlocknet says:

    @seanomom If your phone is from Bell then we emailed you an SP code as well and it needs to be entered by entering MEP (ALT) 4 and you will be prompted for the Service Provider code.

    After half a day of going back and forth between AT&T and BlackBerry, I finally gave in and bought the unlock code. It was in my email in under half an hour, and the instructions in the video worked for me exactly; except that my AT&T phone only offers 10 attempts. Still, it worked first time, and after I yelled at AT&T long enough they credited my account enough to cover the cost of the code ;o)
